Bristol Flower Company
I’m Jen, the grower behind Bristol Flower Company.
Since 2021, I’ve been growing flowers on my urban plot in central Bristol, transforming it into a space filled with colour, scent and wildlife.
I grow seasonal, sustainably produced flowers with a focus on form and fragrance, from the first ranunculus of spring through to annuals, scented roses and late-summer dahlias. Quality and freshness sit at the heart of everything I do, with each stem harvested by hand and carefully conditioned.
I love flowers that have movement, scent and individuality, that feel alive, expressive and of the moment. I grow in tune with the seasons, embracing their challenges and the quiet magic of waiting for each new variety to arrive.
Bay Tree Herbs, Clover Nursery
I'm Vicky. I am the sole grower of organic certified cut flowers based on up to an acre at Clover Nursery, near Clevedon, north Somerset.
Set up in 2019 after years of work in commercial veg horticulture, and growing veg and herbs for organic delivery, I branched out into a few edible blooms for adding to salad packs, and just kept going with the flowers.
The majority of the annuals are grown in the four polytunnels, a few in the commercial greenhouse, with biennials and perennials down the the flower field.
This year I’m very excited waiting for my own varieties of snapdragons and zinnias to bloom from seeds I've been selecting and crossing for the past few years. Some lovely pinks and peaches heading this way!
